After receiving your Hudson Autoworks Estimate, you may schedule an appointment with a member of our team to bring your vehicle in for repairs.
We will order any necessary parts for your vehicle’s repair once the appointment is scheduled to ensure they arrive before your vehicle’s appointment.
When your vehicle arrives to our shop, a technician will thoroughly dissemble and evaluate your vehicle to ensure that all repairs were accounted for on the preliminary estimate.
If any changes should be made to the Repair Order, a member of our team will contact you and/or your insurance company in order to approve necessary changes.
Parts that were ordered when you scheduled your appointment will arrive during this phase and any additional parts will be ordered once the supplement has been approved.
The structure of the vehicle is what we call the “Foundation” of the vehicle. If damaged, it is essential that all damaged parts are repaired before exterior panels are re-attached to the vehicle. During structure repair, the vehicle is placed on our Car-O-Liner Frame Machines, repaired and measured to OEM specs of 0-3mm tolerance before proceeding to the Body Repair phase.
During the Body Repair process all panels are repaired or replaced as followed by your Repair Order. The Technician repairs/re-aligns panels and applies primer filler to provide a smooth finish before shipping the vehicle to our Hudson Autoworks Paint Department.
The most exciting and meticulous step has arrived!
The paint technician sands panels and primer filler for proper adhesion with 3M Products.
After sanding, the vehicle is masked, cleaned and rolled into our state-of-the-art down-draft Americure paint booths.
Lastly, PPG refinish paint is mixed on site specifically for your vehicle and applied with a clearcoat to give your vehicle the fresh factory shine we all love!
After Paint, the vehicle is ready for reassemble.
The exterior panels and trim are reattached to the vehicle.
All operating parts and electrical systems are thoroughly checked and inspected to guarantee they are functioning properly.
Finally, a Post-Repair Scan is performed on vehicles 2014 or newer, with MaxiSys Computer Technology to ensure there are no hidden computer codes sustained during your accident or the repair process.
The vehicle is whole again!
Paint is inspected for debris, sanded, and polished to perfection with Rupes buffers and compounds.
A courtesy wash and vacuum is performed to the vehicle.
If you would like to add a more extensive Detail Package to your Service, let us know at any time during your repair.
Tires are shined and we are ready for delivery!

At the time of pick up, the service writer and customer review the repairs completed to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Afterwards, payment is received for repairs. If your repairs were filed under insurance, the payment will include checks received from insurance company and any applicable deductible.
